I grew up in the sticks and anyone who did knows well of the "family" you develop. People out there stick together. They may live miles apart but they are there in the tough times and are always in the background in your life....loving from afar.
One of those families has lost their matriarch, a dear,sweet man, who will be missed.
Kinda symbolic that my baby boy learned to wave "bye-bye" yesterday.
