It seemed like nothing would go right.....I stubb my toe, my nails break, I'm retaining water like a melon. I reminded myself I was just being overly emotional and letting everything bother me......then the dryer breaks. That was the straw. "It's ALWAYS something." Granted...this poor dryer is 30 years old, but it's old-faithful. My husband's motto is "if it ain't broke...don't replace it". So Friday I get to work, check on the bills processing from our checking and see what to my surprise??? A bonus that we weren't expecting. We don't count bonuses as part of our income towards bills but extra to save. Guess how much the bonus was? Enough to cover a dryer. (even though we aren't going to buy one) I think it was God's way of saying....."I'm listening".
Before I left work, my boss reminded me that as of next Tuesday, I've been there a year and I'm up for a raise and bonus. I had forgotten. The raise will cover formula. See....once again, God makes a way. He's been showing me this for the last 8 years, when two kids making less than 10k a year had a baby.
I named this post God is good because...well....God IS good, but that's what our son's name means. When I think of his name, or say it, I'm reminded that it's by God's grace he's here and that everything we have is a blessing.

What a wonderful post! :) God is Good. He comes through when you least expect it but most of the time, he is always there.
