I feel like Stretch Armstrong today. Feeling really "full" lately....and it's just the beginning ....really scared. Eating is a chore....I get hungry and have to eat to keep from yakking...but I don't really wanna. Ugh!
Got the ooky gook now too. Ick! Good news is my doc sent 2 more months of samples of the prenatals. So maybe I'll only have to pay for 7 months....or maybe they can just add that into the charges that I've already paid. FO SHO!
Did anyone have to pay their delivery bill upfront? Is this common?

i hate the beginning stretching...it SUCKS!!!
sorry your nose is leaking...that SUCKS, too!!
no, i DID NOT have to pay my bill upfront...that's absurd!
did not pay bill upfront! my insurance billed me a few weeks later!
The appointment where they confirmed 2 heartbeats I got the "letter" telling me I had to pay up front my 20% of the delivery and offered installments. I was SHOCKED! I think this is a new practice but yes, my regular ob/gyn does that.
Talk about raining on my parade that day. I had heartbeats for the first time in my life & there were two & all the happiness drained when I got in the vehicle & read my letter. heh! dang doctors! I didn't care half way either because I would have paid gold bricks at that time just to get those babies here and healthy. STill would :) heh!
Yes, after my first two appoints they told me what my part of the co-pay was and that they streched it out to sixty dollars per visit. I was happy because, at least I knew that was one bill I wouldn't have to worry about once the kiddo got here.
Didn't pay upfront.
You pay your Dr. bill up front, but not the hospital bill. My dr. let me make payments though...that $800 some odd bill was a bit much at one time for us. I had to have it paid by 20 wks, I think...I have 2 payments of 2something.
Good luck with the stretching! And go get you some Target prenatal vitamins...they are the same thing.
I just had a co-pay to meet with zoe..just like 250 co-pay and my insurence covered the rest...with Jojo I had to pay delivery up front and it was like 600 and something...took the entire 9 months for me to pay it..haha
honestly... I don't remember. That's been ten years ago, LOL. I don't think so but then again, my husband has AWESOME health insurance. I do remember having to pay for the circumcision early though but that was an option to get a discount. I think that was the only thing not covered by insurance.
